My Background
I graduated from the Masters Program of the Palo Alto School of Hypnotherapy in 2000 and immediately began working in private practice at The Alternative Healing Center in San Jose.
I am certified by the Palo Alto School of Hypnotherapy as a Clinical and as a Medical Hypnotherapist and studied counseling at UCSC Extension.I am an active professional member of the American Association of Professional
Hypnotherapists (AAPH). I conduct my practice in accordance with their code of ethics.
My work is based on the belief that every person has within them the
ability to be who they really want to be, live the life they want to live,
and achieve the goals and dreams they wish to achieve. I do not attempt to diagnose psychological disorders, do not
treat mental illness or severe psychological disorders. I do not attempt
any kind of psychiatric therapy outside my training. My work is a
complementary therapy. If I feel I cannot provide the kind of care a
client needs, I refer that client to an appropriate practitioner. Whatever stands in our way, whether its physical problems or mental and
emotional obstacles, we can overcome them, work around them, or eliminate
them. My work is dedicated to helping people do just
that.
